After spending years working for large marketing agencies, I opened my own studio in 2008. Why? I realized that the most important thing in design is the relationship, which sometimes gets lost in larger organizations. When you work with Oscar Design Studio, you will always be communicating directly with me.
Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, I have a deep appreciation for locally-owned small businesses. Being the daughter of an entrepreneur, I understand the sacrifice and passion that is poured into building your own business. This drives me to create long-lasting, powerful brands that you will be proud to show off.
After graduating from Kutztown University with a BFA in Communication Design, I relocated to Philadelphia -- where I honed my skills at design. My clientele have ranged from large to small. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Virtua Health Care, Nemours and St. Joseph’s University are a few of the larger organizations I've done work for.
Whether I’m designing for a start-up in Old City, a family business on the Main Line, or a large corporation in Center City, I know this to be true – human connection and emotion is at the heart of all good design.

“Amy sounds great, but who is Oscar?”
That’s Amy’s great-grandfather, Oscar Collins. He made trains beautiful by painting the intricate details on the exterior of the Pennsylvania Railroad back in the early 1900s. His work inspires Amy to make the world a little more beautiful through art and design.

Founded in 2008, Oscar Design Studio, LLC is a Philadelphia-based design studio with a centralized focus on solid branding. Amy takes a personal approach to brand development and design, with the goal of making you stand out. She focuses on your needs and uses design to vocalize to your consumers what your company is all about.
Amy has designed for small companies ranging from an optometrist to a smoothie company to a caterer. The sky is the limit! She loves helping small businesses thrive. She has designed for larger companies like Avis and Budget, Comcast, Carecredit, Nutrisystem, Virtua, CHOP, Taylor & Francis Group, and Treska. She’s also designed for schools like University of Kentucky and St. Joseph’s University.
